Description
Two WWII German Wehrpass booklets for WWI Veterans, one for Hauptmann Richard Grohnert, born 9.16.1895, with service in WWI on the Eastern Front in 1915, and service on the Western Front in 1917 and 1918. His WWII service begins on the Western Front on the French coast, until Operation Barbossa started, where he was active from 22.6.1941 until 22.1.1942. His service in WWI earned him the Iron Cross first and 2nd class, and the Hindenburg Cross. His Service in WWII earned him the War Merit Cross 2nd class with Swords. The other Wehrpass is for Max Curt Epperhein, born 11.6.1897, with service in WWI in the Kriegsmarine from 25.4.1916 until 18.6.1919, and service in WWII from 1940 until 1942. His Service in WWII earned him the War Merit Cross 2nd class with Swords.
