Description
WWII German Wehrpass for Thomas Gieler, born 7.9.1919. Gieler started service on the Western Front, with his last service place being in the Western Alps, he was then transferred to the Eastern front for Operation Barbossa, where on 6/8/1941 he was killed in action while in Ukraine. His commanding officer promoted him postmortem for his actions on the Eastern Front.
